What Strobeline is
A tool for recording fire alarm inspection, testing and maintenance results. It records what you enter. It does not inspect, test, certify, approve or determine compliance, and it is not an official NFPA form. You and your qualified inspectors are responsible for the work, for the results recorded, for choosing the correct code edition, and for notices and filings your jurisdiction requires.
Your records
Your company owns its records. You can export them at any time. You are responsible for having the right to enter the information you enter, including building and contact details.
Accounts
Keep sign-in codes and passwords private. Company owners and admins control who is in the company account.
Availability
Records saved on a device are stored there until sent. Keep the app open with signal after working offline so records can send; uninstalling the app or clearing browser data before sending can lose unsent records.
Paid plans
Free is free with its limits (1 person, 3 buildings, a light «Strobeline Free» mark on PDFs). Solo and Crew are per company, billed monthly or yearly in US dollars at the prices on the pricing page. Payment is handled by Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record: Polar charges your card, adds sales tax where it applies, and sends the receipts. We never see or store card numbers.
Renewal. A plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel any time from Settings → Plan → Manage billing; the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for and does not renew. Refunds: if Strobeline is not right for you, email support@strobeline.com within 14 days of your first payment and we refund it in full. After that, payments are not refunded, except where the law requires.
After a paid plan ends your company returns to Free. Nothing is deleted: every building, device and signed record stays readable and exportable; the Free limits apply to adding new buildings and people, and new PDFs carry the Free mark again. We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change applies to you.
Limits
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
