What we collect
- Account: your email address, name, and the company and license details you enter.
- Inspection records: buildings, device lists, results, notes, problems, photos and signatures your team records. These belong to your company.
- Technical: the IP address and browser of requests (kept with signed records as part of the signature trail), and anonymous page counts. Counts never include personal details.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information or inspection records.
- We do not use your records to train AI models, and the product does not send your records to AI services.
- We do not show ads.
Who processes data for us
Vercel (hosting and file storage), Neon (database), Resend (email), Polar (payments — merchant of record; Polar and its card processor receive the buyer’s email and card details, and we receive back only the plan, renewal date and an internal company id; we never see card numbers).
Keeping and deleting
Fire alarm inspection records often must be kept for years (for example until the next test plus one year under NFPA 72, or longer under local rules). We keep your company's records unless your company asks us to delete them. If you close an account, records stay readable and exportable to your company. A person may ask us to remove their contact details; signed records keep the signer's name because it is part of the record.
